Tracey and Daniel's fun Worthing wedding was full of love and lots of laughs.
The day started for me just down the road in Lancing to take the pre wedding photographs, always great as there's always so much going on. For this wedding I visited both the Bride and Groom as they were getting ready a short distance away from each other. As I arrived with the groom spirits where running high, the best man and ushers had just arrived! As the guys played tricks on each other I got some great natural photographs. Then on to the Bride, Tracey's house. The atmosphere was more relaxed but just as fun especially when her mum decided to have some fun and pretend to help with Tracey's makeup as I took a photo. As always the time flew and before I knew it I had to leave for the church, The Holy Family Church also in Lancing. A few photographs of the groom welcoming guests and getting his cravat tie straightened by the best man, lovely photograph, it was time for the wedding. I was lucky enough to be allowed to photograph the entire ceremony and had a great spot at the front of the church, ideal to capture some lovely natural photographs of the proceedings.
As the couple left the church unfortunately it started to rain but ever the gentleman, Daniel sheltered his new wife Tracey from the rain by holding an umbrella. What a star and as you can see it made a wonderful photo. I timed it just right and fired the shutter just as Tracey looked lovingly at Daniel love it. A few shots outside the church and then we headed off to the seafront town of Worthing. As I dried off in the car I hoped the rain would stop as we had planned to take some photographs on the beach. Luckily for us as the couple walked across the road onto the beach the rain stopped and although we didn't have sunshine at least it was going to be dry. Prepared, Tracey slipped off her wedding shoes and hooking up her dress I captured a lovely sequence of photographs as the couple walking along the sand with Worthing Pier in the background. As I said good bye to the couple I was waved off with two great big smiles and lots of laughter. A really fun, happy and lovely Worthing Wedding which was a real joy to photograph. I don't think I have laughted so much for a long time. Lovely.
