To be successful in promoting your business or event on Social Media, you need to build a following. To do this, you need to create good content, share interesting updates and above all use fantastic photo's, graphics and video content all of which needs to be posted regularly. But that's not all! Just share posts about your business and even your most loyal follower will soon start ignoring your updates or even worse unfollow you! Your Facebook posts and Tweets need to be fun but professional with a good mix of news about your business with behind the scenes photos or videos. You need to offer free advice, share how-to guides, talk about current projects you are working on and share recent reviews. Your Facebook page, Twitter timeline, Instagram account and blog needs to be a like a high-quality magazine full of interesting articles and stunning photos!

So, in a nutshell, to succeed with Social Media in 2018 and beyond you need to become a Visual Storyteller. A publishing guru who creates fantastic content that people actually want to read, like and share. Achieve this, and then you'll build a following, and once you have a following you can sell your products or services, but not too much. The quickest way to lose an audience is to post about your products or services repeatedly. Sell, Sell, Sell is not the right approach. Remember the people that follow you are your fans, keep them entertained.

Here's some information about me -
Pre-internet, don't laugh it wasn't that long ago :-) I was a staff photographer on one of the biggest selling regional newspapers, in fact, I've won awards for my photojournalism. I've also worked for national newspapers and had work published in magazines and covered assignments for international companies. I've been working in social media and publishing content on the internet since the early days of dial-up and I love finding, creating and telling stories. In the last few years, I've set up and run business Facebook pages (here's a link to one that I currently run for a group of independent traders in Sussex - Wick Village Traders Facebook Page) and regularly create content for florists, event organisers, bakers and farming unions to name just a few.

Please Note: The above prices are per month, and each iPhone Photography Package includes up to 10 miles of total travel from my business address in East Preston, West Sussex, UK. If your business is located outside of this area and I'm required to visit your premises a further charge for my time and travel will be required. You will be notified of this extra charge at the time of your enquiry.

FAQ - 

If I choose you to handle my social media updates how long is the commitment? 
Once purchased you will receive one month's worth of social media updates, after this time you can stop or pay for another month. If you choose to cancel before the end of the month, you will receive a refund minus the charge for any work that has been carried out or created plus any Paypal or Banking fees that I may have incurred. 

Can you post to Instagram and Twitter also? 
Yes, choose the Extra Social Media Accounts Add-On, and for a small fee, I'll post the same content onto your Instagram & Twitter Accounts. If you really want to raise your Instagram game, I strongly recommend talking to me about booking a Social Media Photography Shoot. To be successful on Instagram, you need high-quality images so if your sending me pictures to post these might not be suitable. 

Do I have to provide my own images? 
You have several options available to you. 
- You can provide your own images which if required I'll edit or incorporate into a graphic before posting.
- I can source copyright-free stock images to use. 
- Choose the iPhone Photography Shoot add-on, and for a small extra charge I'll visit you and create all the photos or short social media video clips required. Please note a small fee to cover my travel and time maybe be required which you will be notified of at the time of booking. 
- Book me for a Social Media Photography, and I'll work with you to create a set of professional business photographs which can also be used on your business website. 

Do I have to provide my own text?
Yes & No! For general updates, you can leave me to it. However, I'll need help with things like special offers or names of people or recent clients you would like mentioned in the update. Either way, when we first start working together, we will agree on the style of your updates. For example fun, professional or easy going.

Can I choose when to schedule my posts? 
Yes and I can also advise you. 

What about hashtags? 
Choosing hashtag's can be very time consuming especially on Instagram, so I'll add a hashtag or two when I feel its suitable. You can also provide me with a list of your own. 

Do you reply to messages, comments or mentions? 
No, I won't reply to any messages, comments or mentions so you will need to check and respond accordingly yourself.
