In 2003, Concorde was being decommissioned, and I had heard that the supersonic aircraft would arrive at Cardiff airport as it took its final tour around the UK. So I grabbed my cameras (for those interested - I used a Nikon D1H back then), filled a flask with coffee and headed to South Wales.
