Wedding Photography In Brighton A Pirate Themed Wedding At The Terraces
Ahoy shipmates there be a Pirate Themed wedding in Brighton to Photograph!
Twenty years as a professional Brighton photographer has allowed me to photograph some interesting things. I've met and photographed people from all walks of life however Claire & Jeremy's recent wedding has to be one of the most memorial weddings I have photographed. The couple chose to brake away from tradition and have a Pirate Themed wedding at The Terraces in Brighton. Unusual you may think but having met the couple before hand I can honestly say it just really suited them both. Not that they are pirates! They are just a really fun loving couple and wanted something different on their wedding day…..and wow did they get it.
As you can see from the wedding photographs everyone (including myself and the venue staff) made a great effort and dressed up as Pirates. Claire made sure the Pirate Theme continued throughout the venue from the table decorations to the Pirates Treasure Chest Wedding cake. Brighton's residents are well known for their quirky, stylish and cool dress sense but this wedding out did them all. One of the highlights of the day happened whilst I stood on Madeira Drive directing 40 plus Pirates for a group photograph. As they shouted and waved their cutlasses I found myself suddenly surrounded by tourists who could not believe there eyes or ears!
So Avast Ye, Weigh anchor and hoist the mizzen and check out these great Pirate Wedding photo's. For a extra treat I have also include a slide show with a very special photo Time Lapse. Enjoy but don't drink to much rum otherwise you will be made to walk the plank you Scurvy Dog!
