Brighton Seafront Silhouettes

People are silhouetted against the winter sun as they walk through a tunnel that leads onto the beach on Brighton Seafront, East Sussex, UK. An old poster showing the The Royal Pavilion is on the wall above their heads. Photo by Scott Ramsey Photography

A winters day on the seafront in Brighton, I lifted my coat collar up high hoping it would keep me warmer against the cold wind. As I wondered with my camera looking and watching I found myself drawn to a large tunnel like walkway that opens onto the front. As people rushed by the clouds parted and the sun briefly appeared casting long shadows on the floor. Positioning myself I lifted the camera fired a frame and moved on.
