A few months ago, Indie (my girlfriend) and I packed our bags and jumped on a plane to Indonesia to start our new travelling life. We sold the house, cars, furniture, appliances, clothes and even my tweed jacket to make this happen and for the foreseeable future, we will be travelling throughout Asia.

Recently I received one from a company who were looking for some new staff profile shots. What became clear when I spoke with them was that they were accustomed to photographers working in a particular kind of way – namely, coming in, taking lots of shots, sticking them all on a memory stick and handing it over.
That got me thinking about how I work – and equally, how I don't.
Working as a TV presenter is so much fun. I love being able to take viewers along with me while I'm on an assignment or when I'm exploring a new place. Of course, being a dedicated professional that I am, this rarely happens (I wish) 😉 However when a retake is sometimes required, it's not always my fault, honest!
